USD to GBP Exchange Rate News and Forecasts

After fractured trading from 2010 to mid 2013, bets that the UK’s strong economic recovery would lead the Bank of England (BoE) to increase interest rates before the Federal Reserve triggered US Dollar to Pound Sterling (USD/GBP) exchange rate losses.

The USD/GBP pairing slid to 0.58 in mid 2014 from a high of 0.66 pence the previous year. However, solid US employment gains and buoyant economic growth has since caused a reversal of interest rate bets and resurgence in the exchange rate.
